• Understanding the Risk: SMEs often lack the infrastructure to defend against cyber threats. Education and simplified solutions are crucial in bridging the gap.

• Detection & Response: From VPNs to anomaly detection, scalable strategies are needed to monitor and respond to threats, without compromising performance.

• Smart Tech & AI: AI and machine learning can help benchmark and detect anomalies, but adoption depends on awareness, risk appetite, and support.

• Human Factors & Continuity: Cyber readiness must include training, impact analysis, and business continuity planning. The cost of a fridge failure is calculable—so is the value of preparedness.
