The conversations underscored the importance of partnerships in driving systemic change and creating pathways for sustainable growth.

What an incredible day at the National AI & Cybersecurity Leadership Summit, hosted by For Purpose Leaders and Dev Singh AUS! The event brought together a diverse audience of innovators, leaders, and curious minds eager to explore the security implications of AI adoption across sectors.

Our CyberWest Hub Industry Advisory Board Member, Peter Bouhlas, opened the first panel with powerful insights on how AI enables his team to focus on the most severe threats among the 20,000 attacks WA Government agencies face every week — reinforcing that cyber security is not just a safeguard but a critical enabler of AI innovation.

This month’s CyberConnect was a powerful evening of conversation on how quantum innovation is reshaping cyber security—and why preparing now matters.

CyberWest Hub was joined by quantum expert was Yasaman Samadi via live stream for an incredible presentation on post-quantum readiness and the practical steps organisations can take today. Yasaman’s insightful work highlighted the pathways WA organisations can use to transition securely and although preparing for Q-day is not urgent – it is important to get ready and form a plan.
