In a major step forward for Western Australia’s digital future, CyberWest Hub officially launched the WA Cyber Capability Directory and the Cyber Education Directory at the CyberWest Summit 2025—the state’s premier cybersecurity awareness and innovation event.

We just wrapped up our April event in collaboration with REA Group. This month, we tackled a hot topic: "How can we prevent bots from scraping our public website without negatively impacting the experience of unauthenticated users?"

CyberWest Hub was proud to support the Business News Security and Resilience Sector Briefing this week, exploring this topic with the business community. The panel discussion was insightful, exploring the geopolitical context of cyber risk, as well as highlighting that most cybercrime is opportunistic - basic security measures are critical.
